Jarin ceramic made by hand with the Raku technique
Material : ceramic with multicolor brilliant glaze, base tone: gold-blue
Dimensions : Ø 24 x H 25 cm approximately
The Raku ceramic technique comes from the Japanese island of the same name Raku. According to some estimates, pottery making in the region dates back over 13,000 years. This ancient technique owes its particularity to the second firing, when the incandescent pieces are cooled with combustible material which, by reducing oxygen, allows the metal enamels to create unique and unrepeatable chromatic effects.li.
All the vases have a similar shape and decoration, but they are different from each other, because when an object is made entirely by hand, the result is a unique piece.
